Grade 5 Aquatic Camp

Adare Conference Centre in 1900 and Present DayCaleb spent three days at an aquatic camp at the Adare Camp and Conference Centre in Victor Harbour, South Australia. He had a great time and I (his dad) was able to go with him to help monitor his health issues related to his cecostomy tube and help with the activities.

Here is his report of his time there …

And here are some of the photos that we said would be in this post …

WOW, Caleb………..what an awesome video. Now I know most of what happened on your camp.
It sounds like you hade an absolute cool time.
Woulad you believe that when I was a young teenager I actually went to a camp at that same place, but it was a Church camp. We didn’t do aquatics though.

    Love Gran.

I’m so glad you did this video Caleb. How cool that Daddy got to go on this camp with you. He REALLY wants a family canoe now! I hope he didn’t get involved with that pillow fight you mentioned. Did he? Haha! I wonder if you or Daddy ended up sleeping in the same bed that I did when I went there for my Grade 5 camp. That would have been kind of cool eh?

PS. Gran made a spelling mistake in her comment. Can you see it? You should let her know. Haha!

      Hi Mum,

Yes I can see her spelling mistakes but she saw it quicker than me and told me the mistakes.

I did like dad going to the camp and yes he already wanted a canoe before camp.

Also I don’t think I slept in the same bed as you when you were my age.

    Hi Caleb:

It was so much fun to see you and hear you talking. This might surprise you, but I think you still have some part of your Canadian accent left. It sounds like you had great fun at camp. What a great experience for you.

I miss seeing your smiling face and your enthusiasm for life around here. But I am so glad to hear that you have new friends and that you are enjoying your school. God has given you lots of reminders that His goodness never ceases. Please say hi to your family from me.

      Hi Ms. VandenBorn,

      Thanks for leaving a comment.

Sorry I haven’t been on here much.

Yes I do have a bit of a Canadian accent left but my parents say I’m losing it.

Also it was a good time at camp. It went by so quickly.
