Soccer With My School Team

Caleb Playing SoccerLast month I  just started playing soccer for my school and we’re doing great. We’ve won one, lost one, and tied one which is pretty good.

Our first game we tied 1-1. Then our second game we lost by just one goal 3-4. Then our third game we destroyed the other team 7-1 which I loved.

My favourite goal so far as been when one of my team mate did a corner kick and it bounced right off the other teams player and right into their own goal.

So far our team has got eleven and I’ve got four assists so far.

The team that I’m on right know is a good team and some of my new friends are on the team which I like.

I love watching you play soccer Caleb! Sorry that sometimes I have been too sick to go. My favourite part is when you come home and tell me all about the game. Your smile of pure joy from having played your favourite sport (and those bright red cheeks and sweaty hair) are a sure sign of how much fun you’ve had. Keep it up!

You look like a real soccer champ in your uniform.
I’m glad you enjoy your sport so much.
It was good to watch you play at St Leonards the other week.
You certainly get into it so keep up your efforts.
Win,lose or draw,it’s good to participate and have a go.

It sounds like you are having a great time playing soccer! I’m so excited for you. What number do you wear? I was always #12 or #6. I love hearing your stories of what you’ve been up to. Oh, and Isabel says HI!
